Episode 1: What is Massage?

Join me on an exploration of a basic massage, focusing on Swedish Massage. What conditions can massage treat? What can you expect in a massage? How often should you get a massage? What foundational skills do practitioners need to develop before doing treatment oriented massage? We'll talk about why even treatment massages, like orthopedic massage should facilitate the relaxation response. We'll enjoy a guided meditation to imagine a Swedish Massage.
